Our Founder | Saideh Brown

As the Founder and Director of The Etiquette Academy, I have over 21 years of experience in peak performance strategies, personal development, and consultancy, working with clients such as Elijah Cummings Youth Program in Israel, NYU|Wagner, UN Women, and Women's World Banking.

My mother, Khadija Akmal, leveraged her social currency to mobilize relationships and connections to become a valuable asset in New York City's social scene in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. She parlayed this currency into a life of style and grace for me. I proudly walk in my mother's shadow.

I am also a sought-after public speaker and mentor, delivering keynote speeches, workshops, and courses at various events, conferences, and organizations around the world. I share my insights and expertise on key topics such as personal performance, self-motivated growth, change management, and personal development. My purpose is to power human potential.

Formal Biography
Saideh Brown, more warmly known as Luxury Sai, is President Emeritus of the National Council of Women at the United Nations; founder of The Etiquette Academy and creator of the HPX Method.

She has a diverse career that spans entertainment, sports, real estate/interior design, social engagement and philanthropy.

The Etiquette Academy provides modern day manners and performance solutions to help entrepreneurs, executives, and aspiring leaders harness the power of social intelligence to excel in life. Her HPX Method is a training program that teaches peak performance skills for self-motivated growth.

Raised in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City above the acclaimed jazz club The Village Gate, Saideh lived an immersive experience of urban city living. The famed NYC Pride Parade, the West 4th St. basketball cages, and the Village's bohemian arts culture provided an intersectional foundation for what would become a life of service to others and an entrepreneurial journey unmatched by few.

She served as the first Muslim President of the National Council of Women at the United Nations, and worked tirelessly to counter the existential threat of the acquisition wealth towards women, and transfer of wealth within the black community. With specialized knowledge of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and its 2030 Agenda, Saideh truly believes our personal development drives the collective transformation that's necessary to make the world more peaceful and prosperous for generations to come.

Saideh A. Brown is the author "The Women Around Me," and eleven other published books; she has served on three multi-million dollar non-profit boards.
